HYLA Mobile, IFC, Mi-Fone, and Telenor Leadership Debate the Role of Mobile Devices in Achieving Affordable and Sustainable Growth
Dallas, TX – March 1, 2015 – HYLA Mobile’s President of Technology and Strategy, Biju Nair, will help lead a dynamic discussion at this year’s Mobile World Congresson the economic, environmental, cultural and technical challenges of connecting the unconnected responsibly.
This marks the first time that sustainable connectivity will be the focus of a panel discussion at the industry’s annual gathering. GSMA’s decision to spotlight mobile’s role in sustainable growth exemplifies the important role these conversations have in achieving the goal of responsible connectivity.
“Re-use and sustainable growth go hand in hand,” said Biju Nair, President of Technology and Strategy for HYLA Mobile. “We believe true sustainability can and does occur when the business model works. People who need phones are connected with affordable devices and it all happens in a way that protects the planet while economically benefitting all the participants.”
